Random (Dark) Things that Might Amuse You
For true-life horror that is respectfully presented, without drama (none is needed - these awful events are horrific enough) then take a look at Fascinating Horror over on YouTube. Interesting, disturbing, sometimes infuriating, most of these tragic incidents could have been avoided if not for negligence and greed. Highly recommended.
I love the innocent ooh-wap-de-do-wap-de-do style music to this, which goes totally against the grain of the sinister, threatening, mafioso style (or should that be little family business style) lyrics. Pomplamoose do a great job here. Bust Your Knee Caps.
More songs, this time introduced to me by my youngest son, Rhys. The first is very relevant to zombie/horror themes, yet has a bouncy reggae vibe! I love the fairground, Zombillenium! Considering I wrote about an abandonded zombie fairground in Brutal Truths, this seems very appropriate, (though again, it is in no way associated.)
Another song I am currently obsessed with. Very apt too! From a game apparently, though I admit to not knowing that when I discovered the song and became hooked on it! Anyone know the game? Played it? It seems it is about a cat that wants its owner dead...
My son also introduced me to this song by Jonathan Coulton, about zombies. Very witty and clever lyrics. Enjoy!
A Dark Fantasy theme this time, very much in keeping with The Dragon Has Wings (though in no way associated with it. I wish!)
The more I listen to this song, the more I like it:
Caravan Palace - Supersonics
Out Come the Freaks
Yet another song I love! Love the animation too, especially the man with four arms.
